Completed in two phases, Phase 1 (Sinbul Nadeulmok – Yongyu Station) and Phase 2; some articles describe the coastal circuit as 14.1 km in total. In July 2026 a further 7 km section of the Yeongjong Coastal Ring Road opened, effectively completing the circuit.
